I was one of the privileged alumni of Prof. K. R. Saxena at Nizam College during my Intermediate and B.Sc. studies from 1954 to 1958. His art of pedagogy was truly par excellence, and I bow before him with the utmost reverence and gratitude.

    Prof. Saxena possessed a rare ability to make the study of Zoology engaging, systematic, and intellectually stimulating. His clarity of thought, depth of knowledge, disciplined approach, and exceptional teaching skills left a lasting impression on generations of students.

    He was not merely a teacher but a mentor and academic institution in himself.

    His teaching went beyond textbooks, encouraging students to observe, question, reason, and develop a genuine scientific temperament.

     His legendary scholarship, dedication to education, and commitment to academic excellence earned him the deep respect of his students and colleagues. The influence of his teaching continued long after students left his classroom.

      Prof. K. R. Saxena has left behind a rich and enduring academic legacy, inspiring generations of Zoology students and teachers to follow his standards of scholarship and pedagogy.

With utmost reverence and gratitude, I salute the memory of my revered teacher.
