It is my privilege to pen a few words about the late Prof. K. R. Saxena, who was an eminent teacher and an able administrator at Osmania University. Generally, teaching and administration are considered challenging to balance, but Prof. Saxena excelled in both domains through his extraordinary abilities, dedication, and humane approach to resolving the problems of teachers and students alike.

I was fortunate to have had the opportunity to associate with him at the University P.G. College of Science, Saifabad, where he served as Principal for many years. I began my teaching career as a part-time lecturer at Saifabad College in 1980. During those early years, Prof. Saxena served as my mentor, consistently encouraging and motivating young teachers like me as we embarked on our academic careers.

His guidance, support, and confidence in young faculty members were truly inspiring.Prof. Saxena was not merely a successful teacher and administrator; he was, above all, a great human being. His warmth, understanding, and concern for others left a lasting impression on everyone who had the privilege of knowing him.

I shall always cherish the memories of my association with him and remain grateful for the guidance and encouragement I received from this remarkable academician. His contribution to education and his exemplary human qualities will continue to inspire generations to come.
