A Wise Man Whose Wisdom Lives On
--Narottam Raj Asthana
I have always remembered Dr. K. R. Saxena as a truly wise man. His wisdom was not merely the result of academic knowledge or years of experience—it came from his ability to understand life, people, and situations with remarkable clarity.
He belonged to a generation that believed in hard work, discipline, learning, integrity, and values.
His words were thoughtful, his advice was meaningful, and his conduct spoke louder than words.
What made him special was the way he shared his wisdom. He never needed to impose his views. A conversation with him itself was often a learning experience. His observations were simple, yet profound, and his understanding of life was remarkable.
*He was one of the last of his kind. They stopped making men like him thereafter, I guess.*
That perhaps is what makes his memory so precious. Today, wisdom of his kind seems increasingly rare. His generation carried a depth of knowledge, patience, values, and life experience that we must strive to preserve.
Dr. K. R. Saxena leaves behind much more than his books, academic accomplishments, and professional legacy. He leaves behind thoughts, values, and wisdom that continue to inspire everyone fortunate enough to have known him.
He was truly a wise man and his wisdom will remain his enduring legacy.
